Anca L. Szilágyi

Anca L. Szilágyi is the author of the novel Daughters of the Air (Lanternfish Press, 2017), which Shelf Awareness called “a striking debut from a writer to watch” and which The Seattle Review of Books called “a creation of unearthly talents.” She is also the author of the fiction chapbooks Sugar (Chin Music Press, 2018) and I Loved You in New York (alice blue books, 2015). Her short stories and essays appear in Lilith Magazine, Gastronomica, and Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications. She is the recipient of awards and fellowships from Vermont Studio Center, Artist Trust, 4Culture, Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, Made at Hugo House, and Jack Straw Cultural Center.
